About Dr. Tubb
Dr. Tubb has been in plastic surgery practice since 1978. He is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, the only board recognized by the AMA and American Board of Medical Specialties to certify plastic-cosmetic surgeons.
He received his undergraduate degree from Texas Tech Univeristy and medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch. He completed a general surgery residencey at the University of Georgia Affiliated Hospitals and a plastic surgery residency at the University of Kentucky Medical Center.
He also rotated through plastic surgery training programs in Atlanta and Mexico City. Dr. Tubb is a former Naval Flight Surgeon and received an Honorable Discharge as a Lt. Commander-Medical Corps.-Advanced Naval Jets.
In addition to his private plastic surgery practice he is an Associate Professor of Plastic Surgery at Texas Tech Health Science Center. He is past president of the Texas Society of Plastic Surgeons and is a member of numerous regional, national and international societies including the American and the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons. Dr. Tubb has been fortunate to lecture on several plastic surgery topics, in Europe and Asia, as well as several areas in the Western Hemisphere.
Dr. Tubb has extensive experience in performing aesthetic surgery procedures explained on this site.
