How Do I Schedule Surgery?
Arrangements for surgery will be made at the time of your in-office consultation, as well as any time after your initial consultation. We make an effort to accommodate our patients' schedules and varied lifestyles.

With What Hospitals is Dr. High Affiliated?
Physicians Surgical Hospitals, LLC(Quail Creek Surgical Hospital and Panhandle Surgical Hospital) Baptist St. Anthony's Hospital, and Northwest Texas Hospital.

How Is My Privacy Protected?
Your medical record is strictly private. We will not give any information regarding your condition to your employer, friends, or relatives without your permission. The only exception to this is when required by law.

How to Choose a Plastic Surgeon.
Be aware that in order to become board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, a physician must pursue a course of post M.D. graduate training of five to seven years including a thorough grounding in general surgery and a minimum of two to three years in an approved plastic surgery training residency. In addition, they must also pass rigorous written and oral examinations before they are officially certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.

A board certified plastic surgeon must also obtain 150 (CME) Category I credits of continuing medical education every three years.

Plastic Surgery Pre-Operative Instructions
• Nothing to eat or drink after midnight.
• Remove all makeup for facial procedures.
• Bring someone with you to drive you home if your having outpatient surgery.
• Refrain from aspirin and ibuprofen or any other NSAIDS (non -steroidal antiinflammatory drugs) along with medications containing these.
• Tylenol is an acceptable substitute.
• Refrain from alcohol, vitamin E, diet pills, herbs, garlic pills, Ginkgo Biloba, St. John's Wort and other herbal remedies for 2 weeks prior to surgery.
• Take a mutiple vitamin and vitamin C 1000mg daily.

What If I Have Questions Or An Emergency?
Please call the office if you have a problem or question regarding your condition, medication, or treatment. Our registered nurse is specially trained to answer your questions.
If you need to speak to the Doctor, the staff will have him return your call as soon as conditions permit.
