Barbara Marino
Barbara D. Marino, M.D., board certified surgeon

Dr. Marino believes that all people can lead a better life. There are many changes we can make that will help us to look better, feel better, and reduce our risk of disease. Many changes that occur as we age can be slowed down or even reversed, but patients aren’t always aware of these. My job, my passion, is to bring new vitality to each person. This is accomplished not only through the cosmetic but also through weight loss strategies and anti-aging education.
Dr. Marino graduated from the Medical College of Ohio where she received the Alfred H. Bilstein Award for being the top student in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mount Carmel Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio which is an affiliate program of The Ohio State University. Dr. Marino was the first physician to complete a four year program of basic research combined with clinical training in gynecologic oncology at The MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas.
Dr. Marino has continued her education and has consistently been the first to offer new technology as they are developed. Most recently, she introduced the latest technologic advance in the removal of unwanted fat to the state of Texas with SmartLipoâ„¢ Laser Body Sculpting, and serves as the training center for Texas. Dr. Marino, again a front-runner, was the first to offer no-needle LipoDissolve and VelaShape in her office, both of which have received national attention for their effectiveness.
