He is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist, Fellowship trained in Eye Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania, a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and a Fellow of the American
Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

He is also a full Clinical Professor at the University Of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.
