Raymond A. Faires, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Dr. Faires has performed cosmetic surgery in the Fort Worth area for over 23 years. He graduated with honors from the University of Texas at Austin in 1974 and received his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in 1976. Dr. Faires completed five years of General Surgery training in 1981 at the University of Louisville in Kentucky where he remained one extra year for fellowships in Microsurgery and Hand Surgery. A fellowship is the highest level of training a doctor can receive in any given medical specialty. He then went on to complete his residency in Plastic Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston in 1984.
Dr. Faires has been the Chief of the Division of Plastic Surgery at Harris Methodist Fort Worth, Chairman of the County Medical Society Grievance Committee, and President of the Fort Worth Surgical Society. He has been a Top Doctor in Tarrant County since 1996. He is a team physician for TCU athletics and the Fort Worth Cats professional baseball team.
Dr. Faires is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is also a member of the American Society of Reconstructive Microsurgery, Texas Society of Plastic Surgeons, Texas Surgical Society, Tarrant County Medical Society, Texas Medical Association and American Medical Association.
